AL MASOUD TRADING is an enterprise which has been in operation since 5^th June 2012, a company first started as a distributor of Premium Dates from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, festive hampers and corporate gives is now in its second year of operation.

Al Masoud Trading is technically a distribution company that undertakes sourcing of imports of specially sought after, fast moving consumer goods such as olive oils & olives by-product, dried fruits & nuts, juices & beverages, dry sundry and others.

Now Al Masoud Trading main focus is offering Premium Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Palestine, Greece and Italy while still maintaining our Dates and Dates by-product distributions. All our products are available at our Main Retail cum Wholesale outlet in Shah Alam and 20 other re-sellers in the Klang Valley and 114 re-sellers throughout Malaysia covering 12 out of 14 states. At the same time the company also undertake the task of distributing its product to the wholesale and retail trade within Peninsular and East Malaysia, Singapore and Jakarta, Indonesia.

In addition new Fast Moving Consumer Goods(FMCG) are being identified to be added into our portfolio to complement our existing retail outlets and distribution network with direct access to some key accounts and general trade in the country.

Al Masoud Trading manages its business with a dedicated team of very experience key personnel whose expertise are in areas such as FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), marketing & distribution, exports & imports of  perishable products, accounting and legal matters.

On a day to day operation, Al Masoud Trading has at its disposal chilled and cold storage warehouse facilities in Port Klang and ambience Bonded warehouse in both Petaling Jaya and Port Klang with unlimited usage. It is therefore well positioned to handle both dry ambience temperature goods and chilled/frozen products to cater for all types of consumption.

MAIN PRODUCTS – PREMIUM OLIVE OILS, DATES, DRIED FRUITS & NUTS

Currently our core business is in the area of distribution and wholesaling of Premium Quality Olive Oils and Olive by products, dried fruits such as Premium Dates, Dried Figs, Apricots and Raisins from Middle East countries such as Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Turkey, Tunisia and U.A.E.

                            

We foresee a strengthening of this product portfolio with a strategic change in our sourcing methodology. Initially AL MASOUD TRADING sources its supplies via existing local wholesalers / importers as part of our learning curve.

Today AL MASOUD TRADING undertakes importation of products direct from producing countries such as Palestine, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Turkey, Tunisia and U.A.E. in its effort to improve income margins and competitiveness.

The prospect of building better volume has tremendous potential as Malaysia is totally dependent of imports of various Olive Oils, Vinegar, Dates, dried fruits and nuts. Aggressive alternative & direct sourcing from upstream suppliers will be the main focus this year onward. A network of sourcing centres is to be identified either through direct linkage or via complementing existing local importers.

However the principle decision factor will be price and quality i.e. whoever offers the best margin & service vis-à-vis quality of products shall be our preferred supplier.
